Frequently Asked Questions
How do I select the right condensing unit size?
Sizing depends on room volume, target temperature, ambient conditions, insulation U-value, door openings and product load. Our engineers perform a cooling load calculation based on your room dimensions and panel specification to recommend the correct HP and evaporator combination – free of charge with your inquiry.
Which refrigerant should I choose – R404A, R448A or R290?
R404A is being phased down under F-Gas regulations due to high GWP. R448A is a drop-in low-GWP alternative suitable for most new installations. R290 (propane) is a natural refrigerant with near-zero GWP, ideal for smaller charge systems where flammability class A3 can be safely managed. We recommend R448A or R290 for EU-destined projects.
Are units supplied pre-charged and ready to install?
Units are factory-tested and can be supplied either pre-charged with holding charge for short transport, or nitrogen-charged for export shipments. On-site, a licensed refrigeration technician completes the final charge, evacuation and commissioning. Installation and commissioning guides are provided with every unit.
What is the typical lead time and warranty?
Standard units typically ship within 2-4 weeks; custom-built units 4-6 weeks. Compressors carry a 2-year manufacturer warranty, with the full unit covered for 1 year against manufacturing defects when commissioned by a qualified technician.
What certifications do condensing units carry?
Units are CE marked and comply with the Pressure Equipment Directive (PED 2014/68/EU) and Machinery Directive. Production follows ISO 9001:2015 quality management. Full technical datasheets, wiring diagrams and pressure vessel certificates are available for tender submissions.
